In agreement between the Mercadeo y Conexin Uno S.A., called 'Tour Operator' in this context and any client requiring our services, named 'The Client', states the following conditions:
The Operator, as an established tour operator in Costa Rica like Mercadeo y Conexin Uno S.A. (National Register No. 3-101-480270) assumes to be in the position as an intermediate between the client/passenger and their supplier companies like hotels, restaurants, ground transportation, further by air or maritime. Thus, 'The Operator' cannot be held responsible in relation to its compromise caused by occasional delays like natural phenomenon, insufficiencies, personal accidents or any other kind of unmoral occurrences, which could arise while a service is offered.
All suppliers offering transportation service are in possession of the necessary policies, established by the Institute of National Insurances. For that reason, all claims should be directed directly to the Costa Rican Government.
In Costa Rica, the following taxes have to be settled: Food (23%) corresponding to a 13% sales tax and a further 10% of service charge. Accommodation (16.39%) corresponding to a 13% sales tax and 3.39% tax to the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT). These figures are subject to change without prior notice.
Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! is providing the best services asked for 'The Client' always assuring the best quality of our services.
The solicited services by 'The Client' and quoted by Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! can be changed anytime with the condition in submitting us a written note:
-Low Season: May 1st through November 30th, 30 days prior to arrival of the group.
-High Season: December 1st through April 30th, 45 days prior to arrival of the group.
In case of modification in the number of traveling passengers, the quote needs to be recalculated once more by 'The Operator'.
Cancellations: In case of a total cancellation of a program by 'The Client' Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! Is proceeding certain reimbursement of the deposits made observing the following limits:
-Low Season: May 1st through November 30th, 30 days prior to arrival of the group.
-High Season: December 1st through April 30th, 45 days prior to arrival of the group.
Brought out deposits to the contracted providers for the program.
Bearing in mind terms and conditions of the providers.
Every cancellation should be sent in a written form via fax to (+506) 430 70 62 or via e-mail to info@mkconnectioncr.com
Children's policy is based on the policy of each provider.
In case of last minute cancellations 'Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! Is not able to proceed any reimbursement.
Mercadeo y Conexin Uno S.A. 'Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! Is soliciting the following payment conditions:
50% at time of signing the contract.
50% of rest payment 30 days before commencement of service during Low Season and 45 days during High Season.
Once the client is in the country any kind of additional costs still need to be settled before commencement of travel.
Marketing Connection & Travel DMC! Requires the settlement of any payment to one of the following bank accounts:
